Inclusive Case Management are looking for a personal assistant in Levenshulme to provide personal, client-led support to an individual who has aphasia, cognitive difficulties and hemiplegia as a result of a brain injury. Our client is a 51-year-old family man who loves going out on his recumbent bike, swimming, cooking and gardening. Our client also requires assistance with general housekeeping duties.
Personal care is not required but he does require some help mobilising and arranging his belongings within reach.
We are looking for someone who can work a minimum 16 hours per week, shift patterns may vary dependent on individual need, and you may need to be available on weekends. Our client is looking for the right person, so we are willing to work with you on the number of hours you work.
Experience in working with individuals with an acquired brain injury would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided.
A car driver is essential.
The current rate of pay is £13.81 per hour and the position is subject to an enhanced DBS check. You will receive 5.6 weeks annual leave; a full induction and mandatory training will be provided.
